About Cezilia Hjelt Röstberg
Side by side, the worlds of tattoo art and painting have shaped Cezilia’s everyday life. It’s as if her soul is a bridge between two realms—the vibrant and sometimes audacious realm of tattoos and the subtle, deeply emotional world of art.
Cezilia’s passion for creation and art is evident in every brushstroke and the precision of the tattoo needle. It’s as though each piece serves as a portal to her innermost feelings and thoughts. Besides living her dream in the countryside, surrounded by cultivated gardens and Western horses, it’s art that lends her life its depth and purpose.
After completing her studies at HDK, she embarked on a 16-year career as a tattoo artist. During this time, Cezilia has refined a unique ability to transform people’s ideas and visions into permanent artworks on their skin. But her creativity knows no bounds. In her home-built studio, resembling a tower with towering, church-like windows, she crafts paintings that capture moments of emotion and energy from bygone eras and other dimensions.
Cezilia’s primary medium of artistic expression is oil, and her works often exude an aura of occultism and mysticism. Lately, she has ventured into the spiritual realm, allowing visions from regressions that surface during meditation in a trance to manifest on canvas.
Born in 1981 in Gothenburg, Cezilia has resided in the countryside for 30 years. It’s within this serene environment that her artistic soul has discovered its true home.
